Moris Waruiru Waititu

I was born and raised in Kagicha town, within the Othaya constituency. We were raised by a remarkable strong and hardworking single mother who worked as a casual laborer in the tea plantations. Life was never easy for us.

Despite  her best efforts, my mother’s income was never enough to meet all our needs. For me to join University of Nairobi to purse Bachelor of law, we held a fundraising in our church and also my mum borrowed some money from relatives, friends and other organizations.

My dream is to become one of the most prominent lawyers in the country. I am wholeheartedly committed to working tirelessly to reach this goal. I refuse to let down the Amsha Foundation, my family, or myself. Every late night spent studying and every challenge I overcome brings me one step closer to realizing my dreams

My faith as a Christian has been a source of strength throughout my journey. Raised by my mother, I learned the importance of having an intimate relationship with God. This relationship has provided me with hope, resilience, and the belief that I am capable of overcoming obstacles, no matter how daunting they may seem.

My journey is just beginning, and I am filled with hope and excitement for what lies ahead. I will continue to work hard, stay focused, and remain grateful for the opportunities I have received. With the support of the Amsha Foundation and the unwavering love of my family, I am confident that I will achieve my dreams and pave the way for a brighter future for my family and community.
